With just 9 blog posts left of Janathon left I’m sure I should be writing about VO2 max tests and the improvement of my bleep test score, but I didn’t do a bleep test at the start of January (or at the start of any month to be honest)! Yesterday afternoon I had a crafting afternoon with a couple of friends. One of them wanted some help making jewellery for her sister’s wedding and the other came along for the gossip.
Making jewellery has become a bit of a hobby for me and I find it quite therapeutic to potter about with beads and wire. I haven’t had my bead boxes out since before Christmas – I needed a bit of a break as Christmas had seen a bit of a making frenzy with presents for my family and for stuff to sell required, so it was nice to dust it all off and start making again. As Janathon and exercise have been occupying a very large proportion of my conscious thinking space it is hardly surprising that I was thinking about this whilst planning my making. I was inspired by Cake of Good Hope’s ‘What Would Ron Do’ and so I made this:
That one’s for you King!
I had a lucky day at the gym today. On a Sunday my usual plan is a longish swim but for some reason this morning when I woke up I decided that I wanted to do some additional cardio work as well as a long swim. That was a very good call as when I got to the gym the pool was closed for cleaning. I would not have been a happy bunny!
